2009 Santa Cruz Blur XC Carbon

In a surprise move, Santa Cruz Bicycles is utilizing carbon fiber for the new Santa Cruz Blur XC for 2009. I'm unaware of any previous Santa Cruz frames that were carbon fiber, so this is uncharted territory for them. I'm not too worried as we all know they have their stuff together and carbon fiber bike frame manufacturers have been utilizing the stuff for years and some only use carbon fiber. The greatest thing about carbon fiber is weight reduction while still providing increased stiffness with a tad bit of small bump compliance.
